Bonrath hat einen neuen Nebenjob, von dem keiner weiß. Er arbeitet als Wachmann in einer Biotechfirma. Doch Bonrath hat noch mehr Geheimnisse: Er hat auch eine neue Freundin, die zufälligerweise bei der gleichen Firma als Laborchefin arbeitet. Als die Firma überfallen wird und die Täter Botox in großen Mengen stehlen, kommen Ben und Semir ins Spiel, die versuchen, die flüchtenden Räuber zu schnappen - vergeblich. Die beiden finden aber heraus, dass die Täter offenbar über Insiderinformationen verfügten, und ausgerechnet Bonraths neue Liebe, Dr. Marlies Eisner, gerät in Verdacht. Bonrath weiß nicht, ob er Marlies noch trauen kann, obwohl diese schwört, dass sie mit dem Überfall nichts zu tun hat. Auch für Semir und Ben erhält der Fall zusätzliche Brisanz, dass das Botox nicht nur in der Schönheitsindustrie eingesetzt wird, sondern als gefährliches Gift auch für Attentäter von großem Interesse ist.
