MEI asks for three shop premises from the TONGS and emphasizes that she will not attend LAI’s wedding if her request is not granted. The TONGS and the CHEUKS have got into a serious argument. HAU asks MEI out and brings her to a shop premises owned by the TONGS. HAU would like to give the shop premises to the CHEUKS as LAI’s betrothal gifts, which gives MEI a great thrill. MEI is so happy with the offer and finally promises to attend the wedding. In fact the shop premises has already been passed to KAM. Now that MEI has taken the property, KAM will have to pick another shop premises. KAM is so unhappy about HAU’s decision.
